If you can communicate, then this skill is highly essential for you. If you are in an area where your words affect the lives of people, then you will have to develop your communication skills.

Remember my point, until you do not follow all the principles given in this article, you will remain as you are now.

I learned all these principles by working in a direct sales and marketing company, the result of which is that I can write articles on this subject.

So what are those principles?

1. 3W’S

What is 3W’s?

  1. Who are You?
  2. Where are you from.
  3. Why are you here?

WHO ARE YOU?

You always represent only two things, yourself and your product. Your product can be anything, such as your skills, time, intelligence, ideas, plans, information, etc.

The more you understand yourself and your products, the more you will be able to make an impact on others.

While making your representation, it is essential to present your and your organization’s name. The more amazingly you execute this, the more your impact will be.

WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

In response to this question, you can tell the name of your organization, country, city, locality, etc.

For example;

Hello, this is Milind from Russia.

Depending on your environment, you have to decide which of them you should use.

The following examples can help you out!

I’m with + [company name].

I’m with Great Apes World.

I’ve been with + [company name] + for + [length of time].

I’ve been with Great Apes World for 3 Years.

WHY ARE YOU HERE?

Now comes your objective.

Why are you presenting yourself so well? Now you have to tell why you were introducing yourself.

Just as a patient always has some reason to visit a doctor.
So now you also have to give the reason for your meeting, the more effectively you present your cause, the better your communication will be.

For Example;

Hello, my name is Alina. I am the head of the sales & marketing department, and I have been in Apple for Six years. So the topic of today’s meeting is how to increase your sales.

You can present all of the 3W’s according to the environment.

Sometimes you need to present your purpose first, and sometimes need to describe your organizational background first.

S.E.E PRINCIPLE

S – SMILE

When was the last time you smiled?
If you are trying to remember, it means you smile less.

Consider yourself lucky that you are a human being, because there are only two species in the world that can smile, humans and apes. The apes cannot do anything that we can do, yet they are happier than us, and on the other hand, we are the ones who can do anything, yet are not able to live happily.

According to Research, Children smile an average of 400 times per day. While cheerful adults still smile 40 to 50 times a day, most of us only grin 20 times a day on average. That is because they are not able to enjoy their work. The only way to enjoy work is to do what you love or love what you are doing.

Why is it necessary to smile?

The smile makes you look happy, and no one refuses to talk to a happy person. When you represent something by being happy, then people feel that some good news will have to come.

E – EYE TO EYE CONTACT

You must have heard that eyes speak a lot.

Eyes show how much confidence, knowledge, enthusiasm is in you. How confident you are about yourself and your product, it shows by the movement of your eyes.

Whenever you present something, your focus may go on people, on their mobiles, on their environment, on the people who are roaming here and there, and this is called distraction, which can spoil your presentation.

So, when you talk with someone, see as much as you can in the eyes of your target audience, it makes them feel like you are talking to them.

E – ENTHUSIASM

Let’s assume that you have implemented all the above things correctly, but if there is no enthusiasm in your presentation, then your performance will look like a withered branch of the tree.

Enthusiasm comes from trust, and trust comes from satisfaction.

You can present anything, but if you are not satisfied with yourself or your purpose, you will not be able to satisfy your audience as well, and the people will be influenced by you only by being excited in your enthusiasm.

BODY LANGUAGE

According to research, our body-language expresses 70% of our communication.

So why don’t we use this 70% well?
Because we got used to audio communication.
There is only one way by which all of you can effectively use this 70%.

The way is, do visual communication as much as possible, you will learn it even faster if you practice it by interacting with the unknown personalities.

How you mix your environment, hands, legs, walk, eyes, expressions, etc. with your words in the best possible way is called body language.

So, from today start trying to say words using your physical expression as well.

THE CONCLUSION

Develop your communication skills by applying 3W’s and S.E.E Principle in your conversation.

&IX STEPS TO DEVELOP YOUR CONVERSATION.

  1. WHO ARE YOU.
  2. WHERE ARE YOU FROM.
  3. WHY ARE YOU HERE(PURPOSE).
  4. SMILE.
  5. EYE-TO-EYE CONTACT.
  6. ENTHUSIASM.
  7. BODY LANGUAGE

You can make your conversation effective be stating your purpose first(sometimes when you are talking directly with the audience).
